Job summary

Austin Powder is seeking a CDL Class B Driver/Operator to safely transport and deliver bulk products, operate mobile manufacturing units, and provide on-site labor support. The role includes outdoor work, loading/unloading, and accurate record-keeping at a fast-paced blasting materials location.

Qualifications

Must be 21 years of age or older per DOT requirements.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Valid CDL (A or B) with hazmat/tanker/air brake endorsements preferred.
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Drive and operate vehicles for safe, on-time delivery of products.
Perform physical labor at job sites using hand tools and equipment outdoors.
Load, unload, and transport materials, inventory, and hazardous materials to destinations.
Maintain driving and delivery logs, verify loads against manifests, and track working hours.
Inspect vehicles before/after trips and report maintenance needs to Location Manager.
Comply with explosive laws and safety policies for bulk/packaged explosives.
