Job summary

Austin Powder is seeking a CDL Class A or B Driver/Operator to safely transport and deliver bulk products from our locations. The role combines driving with physical labor at job sites, reporting to the Location Manager.

Responsibilities include operating and maintaining vehicles, ensuring load accuracy, performing pre- and post-trip inspections, handling hazardous materials with care, and supporting on-site manufacturing activities at customer locations.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid CDL Class-A or Class-B license and maintain clean driving record.
• Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform manual labor as required.
• Ability to read and interpret gauges and operate within safety standards.
• Hazmat, tanker, and air brake endorsements are highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains/operates vehicles and equipment in a safe, professional manner.
• Driving time 20 - 30% with remaining time on-site performing labor tasks.
• Picks up and transports goods, inventory, hazardous materials, and other cargo to destinations.
• Keeps logs, verifies loads against manifests, and tracks working hours.
• Loads/unloads materials and supplies, including overhead bin loading with fall protection.
