Job summary

Austin Powder is seeking a CDL Class B Driver/Operator to safely transport and deliver bulk products, operate mobile manufacturing units onsite, and provide labor support at job sites. The role reports to the Location Manager and requires safe handling of explosives per regulations.

Responsibilities include driving and physical labor, loading/unloading, maintaining logs, and ensuring accurate inventory records. Must be capable of lifting 50 lbs and working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

Must be 21 years of age as required by the DOT.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid CDL license (Class A or B) and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

Maintains/operates vehicles and equipment in a safe, professional manner.
Driving time 20-30% with remaining time for physical labor outdoors.
Coordinate and handle mechanical systems to deliver emulsion.
Transport goods, inventory, hazardous materials, and other cargo to destinations.
Maintain loading/unloading and transport materials with fall protection as needed.
Operate MMUs onsite to produce bulk products for blasting.
