Job summary

Austin Powder is seeking a CDL Class B Driver/Operator to safely transport and deliver products, while supporting on-site labor. The role reports to the Location Manager and requires working outdoors and handling bulk explosives with strict safety practices.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old per DOT.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid CDL license and clean driving record.
• Hazmat, tanker, and air brake endorsements preferred.
• Able to work outdoors in all weather.
• Must read gauges and follow safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Drive and deliver products safely; driving time 20–30% with remaining labor tasks.
• Perform physical labor with hand tools and shovels outside in varying weather.
• Load/unload and transport materials to and from destinations, including hazardous materials.
• Keep driving and delivery logs, confirm loads match manifests, track hours.
• Operate mobile manufacturing units (MMUs) onsite at customer locations.
• Complete pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections; report maintenance needs.
• Comply with regulatory requirements and company policies for explosives delivery.
• Other duties as assigned.
