Job summary

Austin Powder is hiring a CDL Driver/Operator to safely transport and deliver bulk and packaged explosives. The role involves operating mobile manufacturing units at customer sites, performing heavy labor, and maintaining precise records for loads and hours.

Responsibilities include pre/post-trip inspections, load security, and adhering to all explosive regulations. Some shifts start very early and require working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older per DOT

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain CDL vehicles and mobile manufacturing units at customer sites.
• Perform heavy labor with hand tools and shovels, outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Load/unload materials, ensure loads match manifests and report hours.
• Keep logs and records of operations, inspect vehicles pre- and post-trip.
• Comply with all explosive handling regulations and company policies.
• Respond to on-site needs and support Blaster-In-Charge when at customer locations.
