Job summary

Austin Powder is seeking a CDL Driver/Operator to safely transport and deliver bulk and packaged explosives. You will operate mobile manufacturing units at customer locations and support on-site at the home base location, reporting to the Location Manager.

The role involves 20–30% driving and the rest performing physical labor; you must be able to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in all weather conditions. A clean driving record and DOT compliance are required.

Qualifications

• CDL license with clean driving record.
• Ability to work outside in all weather.
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs regularly.
• Read and interpret gauges and maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Operate and drive vehicles safely and professionally.
• Drive 20–30% of time; perform physical labor outside with hand tools.
• Load/unload and transport materials and supplies to destinations including hazardous materials.
• Maintain driving and delivery logs and verify load contents against manifests.
• Operate mobile manufacturing units onsite to create bulk products for blasting.
• Complete pre- and post-trip inspections and report maintenance to Location Manager.
• Comply with regulations and company policies for bulk/packaged explosives delivery.
• Other duties as assigned.
