Job summary

Reyes Beverage Group, the leading beer distributor in the United States, is hiring a CDL Class A Driver for 1st shift. The role features a Tuesday–Friday schedule, 5am start, and home every night with local deliveries.

You will operate a commercial vehicle, perform pre/post-trip inspections, assist with loading/unloading, and work with PIT/MHE equipment. Requires 1+ year Class A driving experience, 21+, and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of Class A driving experience or equivalent military driving experience.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must possess a valid Class A CDL.
• Daily lifting up to 50 lbs and occasional reach to 170 lbs when needed.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle and deliver products to customers.
• Unload and deliver orders to local customers and perform pre/post-trip inspections.
• Safely use PIT/MHE equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
• Other duties as assigned by supervision.

• Shift: 1st Shift Full-time - 5am start time
• Schedule: Tuesday-Friday (Saturday, Sunday, and Monday off)
• Local Deliveries - Home Every Night
• Prior touch freight experience is required
• Pay: Starting at $65k per year
• Off on Major Holidays (8 Total)
• Must be 21 Year of Age
• Must have Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (At least 1yr experience required)

Position responsibilities:

• The primary duty of the CDL Class A Driver entails the safe and professional operation of a commercial motor vehicle, company equipment, and the courteous delivery of products to our valued customers

• The CDL Class A Driver is responsible for unloading and delivering products to our local customers and are responsible for pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment and vehicle

• This role will securely operate Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) and/or Material Handling Equipment (MHE) such as an electric pallet jack and/or hand truck

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

• 1 plus years of Class A commercial driving experience or equivalent driving experience in the military

• Must be at least 21 years of age

• Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License

• Must be able to lift products from 25 pounds to 50 pounds on a regular basis and up to 170 pounds

Preferred Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
