Job summary

Reyes Holdings in Centreville, MD is seeking a CDL Class A Driver for local beer deliveries. 1st shift, 5am start, Tuesday through Friday with Saturday, Sunday, and Monday off, and home every night. The role requires at least 1 year of Class A driving experience, 21+ years old, and a valid CDL.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• The primary duty is safe and professional operation of a commercial vehicle and courteous delivery to customers.
• Unloading and delivering products to local customers; perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Operate PIT/MHE such as an electric pallet jack or hand truck as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Shift: 1st Shift Full-time - 5am start time
• Schedule: Tuesday-Friday (Saturday, Sunday, and Monday off)
• Local Deliveries - Home Every Night
• Prior touch freight experience is required
• Pay: Starting at $65k per year
• Off on Major Holidays (8 Total)
• Must be 21 Year of Age
• Must have Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (At least 1yr experience required)

Position responsibilities:

• The primary duty of the CDL Class A Driver entails the safe and professional operation of a commercial motor vehicle, company equipment, and the courteous delivery of products to our valued customers
• The CDL Class A Driver is responsible for unloading and delivering products to our local customers and are responsible for pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment and vehicle
• This role will securely operate Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) and/or Material Handling Equipment (MHE) such as an electric pallet jack and/or hand truck
• Other duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience:

• 1 plus years of Class A commercial driving experience or equivalent driving experience in the military
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
• Must be able to lift products from 25 pounds to 50 pounds on a regular basis and up to 170 pounds

Preferred Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
