Job summary

Reyes Beverage Group in Washington, DC is hiring a CDL Class A Driver for a full-time 1st shift (5am start). Local deliveries with home every night and starting pay of $28 per hour.

You will safely operate a CMV, unload at customer sites, perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and use PIT/MHE as needed. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, vacation pay, paid holidays, and a 401k with company match.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift products from 25 to 50 pounds regularly and up to 170 pounds

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle and deliver products to customers
• Unload and deliver products to local customers; perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Operate PIT/MHE devices such as an electric pallet jack or hand truck
• Other duties as assigned

• Schedule: Tuesday-Friday (Saturday, Sunday, and Monday off)
• Local Deliveries - Home Every Night
• Prior touch freight experience is required
• Pay: Starting at $28 per hour
• Off on Major Holidays (8 Total)
• Must be 21 Year of Age
• Must have Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (At least 1yr experience required)

Position responsibilities:

• The primary duty of the CDL Class A Driver entails the safe and professional operation of a commercial motor vehicle, company equipment, and the courteous delivery of products to our valued customers
• The CDL Class A Driver is responsible for unloading and delivering products to our local customers and are responsible for pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment and vehicle
• This role will securely operate Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) and/or Material Handling Equipment (MHE) such as an electric pallet jack and/or hand truck
• Other duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience:

• 1 plus years of Class A commercial driving experience or equivalent driving experience in the military
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
• Must be able to lift products from 25 pounds to 50 pounds on a regular basis and up to 170 pounds

Preferred Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
