Job summary

Reyes Holdings, L.L.C. is hiring a CDL Class A Driver for the 1st shift in the Washington, DC area. You will safely operate a commercial vehicle, deliver to local customers, and unload products while maintaining professional conduct.

The schedule is Tuesday to Friday, 5am start, with home every night and paid holidays. Benefits include medical, dental and vision coverage, vacation pay, 401k with company match after 60 days, and eligibility for the discretionary incentive program.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of Class A driving experience or equivalent military driving experience.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must possess valid Class A CDL.
• Able to lift 25–50 lb regularly and up to 170 lb.

Responsibilities

• Operate a commercial motor vehicle safely and deliver to customers.
• Unload and deliver products to local customers and perform inspections.
• Operate PIT/MHE such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Shift: 1st Shift Full-time - 5am start time
• Schedule: Tuesday-Friday (Saturday, Sunday, and Monday off)
• Local Deliveries - Home Every Night
• Prior touch freight experience is required
• Pay: Starting at $28 per hour
• Off on Major Holidays (8 Total)
• Must be 21 Year of Age
• Must have Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (At least 1yr experience required)

Position responsibilities:

• The primary duty of the CDL Class A Driver entails the safe and professional operation of a commercial motor vehicle, company equipment, and the courteous delivery of products to our valued customers
• The CDL Class A Driver is responsible for unloading and delivering products to our local customers and are responsible for pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment and vehicle
• This role will securely operate Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) and/or Material Handling Equipment (MHE) such as an electric pallet jack and/or hand truck
• Other duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience:

• 1 plus years of Class A commercial driving experience or equivalent driving experience in the military
• Must be at least 21 years of agei>
• Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
• Must be able to lift products from 25 pounds to 50 pounds on a regular basis and up to 170 pounds

Preferred Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
