Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Driver- CDL (B) to safely operate a collection truck and provide prompt, courteous waste removal services to customers. The role requires ensuring vehicle compliance with safety standards and completing daily vehicle condition reports to address any defects.

Responsibilities include pre/post-operation inspections, routing and service of customers, loading refuse, reporting safety issues, and maintaining productivity records in compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• Class B or higher Commercial Driver’s license with air brakes endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections per policy to ensure safety and report issues.
• Safely operate heavy truck along designated route and service each customer per dispatcher instructions.
• Load refuse using proper controls and dispose at designated facility.
• Interact professionally with customers, dispatchers and teammates every day.
• Identify unsatisfactory waste containers and tag accordingly; monitor waste quality on routes.
• Complete route/productivity sheets and vehicle condition reports (VCRs) as required.
