Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a CDL-B Driver to safely operate a collection truck and provide prompt waste removal for customers. You will ensure vehicle compliance with safety standards, complete daily vehicle condition reports, and follow all regulations.

This role emphasizes courteous customer service and reliable on-time pickups. Responsibilities include pre/post trip inspections, route servicing, loading and disposal operations, and maintaining accurate productivity reports.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL with air brakes endorsement.
• Experience operating heavy trucks and completing pre/post-trip inspections.
• Commitment to safety standards and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicle before/after operation per policy.
• Safely operate the truck on assigned routes and service customers.
• Load refuse, operate the compactor, and dispose at the facility.
• Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers, and co-workers.
• Complete required route sheets, VCRs, and other reports.
• Maintain productivity and adhere to safety policies.
