Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Driver - CDL (B) to safely operate a collection truck and provide prompt, courteous waste removal services. You will ensure vehicle compliance with safety standards and complete daily vehicle condition reports to address any defects.

The role requires pre/post-trip inspections, on-route service to customers, proper loading, and adherence to all safety regulations while maintaining professional interactions with customers and dispatchers.

Qualifications

• Class B CDL with air brakes endorsement.
• Ability to perform pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections.
• Commitment to safety policies and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a collection truck on assigned routes and service customers on schedule.
• Conduct vehicle inspections and complete VCRs daily to report defects.
• Load refuse, operate the packer, and dispose of material at designated facilities.
• Interact with customers and dispatchers to ensure courteous, timely service.
• Adhere to safety policies and company procedures at all times.
