Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Driver- CDL (B) to safely operate a collection truck and deliver prompt, courteous waste removal services. The role requires pre/post-trip inspections, adherence to safety standards and regulatory compliance, and accurate reporting of vehicle condition daily.

The position emphasizes professional customer interaction, route execution, and timely completion of productivity records while maintaining high safety and reliability on every trip.

Qualifications

• Class B or higher Commercial Driver’s license with air brakes endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspection of the vehicle.
• Safely operate the heavy truck on designated routes and service each customer.
• Read route sheets, follow maps, and report safety issues daily.
• Load refuse, operate the compactor, and dispose at the designated facility.
• Interact with customers and dispatchers professionally and courteously.
• Complete route/productivity sheets and safety reports as required.
