Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Driver – CDL (B) to safely operate a collection truck and provide prompt, courteous waste removal services. The position requires pre- and post-operation inspections, adherence to safety standards and regulations, and daily completion of vehicle condition reports.

The role involves reading route sheets, servicing customers on the designated route, loading waste, operating the packer, and disposing at a transfer facility.

Qualifications

• CDL with air brakes endorsement required.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspection of the vehicle and report safety issues.
• Safely operate the truck along the route and service each customer on the route sheet.
• Load and unload waste, operate packer and dispose of material at designated facilities.
• Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers and colleagues to ensure timely service.
• Maintain vehicle readiness and complete required route sheets and reports.

Education

Class B or higher Commercial Driver’s license with air brakes endorsement
