Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Driver- CDL (B) to safely operate a collection truck and provide prompt waste removal services. You will ensure vehicle compliance with safety standards, perform daily vehicle condition reports, and maintain on-time service for customers.

The role requires strong safety discipline, reliable time management, and courteous communication with customers and teammates on a daily basis.

Qualifications

• CDL B with air brakes endorsement required.
• Strong focus on safety and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to inspect vehicle and complete reports daily.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections per policy.
• Safely operate the heavy truck on the designated route and disposal site.
• Load refuse, operate the compactor, and dispose of material at the facility.
• Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers and coworkers daily.
• Complete route productivity sheets and safety reports (VCRs).
• Adhere to safety policies and participate in ReSOP program.
