Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Driver- CDL (B) to safely operate a collection truck and deliver prompt waste removal services to customers on assigned routes. You will ensure vehicle readiness, comply with safety standards, and maintain regulatory adherence while providing courteous service.

The role emphasizes on-time route completion, daily vehicle condition reporting, and strong customer interaction to meet company standards and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL with air brakes endorsement.
• Ability to operate heavy trucks and complete safety checks.
• Strong customer service and punctuality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-operation inspections of the vehicle.
• Safely operate the truck on designated routes and service customers.
• Load refuse, operate the packer, and dispose of material at the facility.
• Maintain safety and compliance with all relevant regulations.
• Complete required route sheets, VCRs and other reports.
• Provide courteous, professional service to customers and co-workers.
