Job summary

BSP Trans Inc. in Maine is hiring for a First Shift CDL B Truck Driver. This full-time role runs Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, offering $29.70 per hour plus a $1,000 sign-on bonus.

You will operate straight trucks and perform freight pickups and deliveries in ME/NH with safety and DOT standards. The job requires a CDL B with HazMat endorsement (we will help you obtain it), a DOT Medical Card, at least 1 year of verifiable CDL experience, and the ability to pass drug tests and

• DOT Medical Card is required for employment.
• Minimum 1 year of verifiable CDL driving experience.
• Must pass DOT drug test and physical.
• Clean driving record and MVR.

• Operate straight truck per BSP Trans Inc safety procedures and applicable laws.
• Perform freight pickups and deliveries within ME/NH area.
• Deliveries may be commercial and residential.

Job description

We have an immediate opening for our First Shift CDL B Truck Driver position!

Full-Time – Monday through Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

$29.70 per hour + $1,000 Sign-On Bonus

BSP Trans Inc. has been providing the Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont areas with outstanding LTL transportation services since 1970. At BSP, our team consists of a six-terminal network across our coverage area to ensure swift deliveries for customers.

What you will do on a typical shift:

• Operate straight truck and vehicles in accordance with BSP Trans Inc safety procedures and operating standards, OSHA, DOT, local, state, and federal laws
• Perform freight pick-ups and deliveries within the ME / NH area in accordance with company standard of customer service and professionalism.
• Deliveries are both commercial and residential
• Effectively communicate with dispatch for route updates, stops and delays that are impactful to the daily schedule

What you need at a minimum to succeed at BSP:

• CDL B license with HazMat endorsement. If you do not have a Hazmat Endorsement, we will help you obtain it
• Department of Transportation (DOT) Medical Card
• A minimum of 1 year of verifiable CDL Experience
• Must successfully pass required DOT Drug Test and physical
• Clean Driving and Safety Record
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
• Ability to exert physical effort in handling (pushing, pulling, lifting, etc.) objects above 75 lbs
