Job summary

BSP Trans Inc. in Westbrook, ME, is seeking a full-time CDL-A driver to operate in Maine and New Hampshire with HazMat endorsement support available. Earn $34.00 per hour and enjoy home-daily shifts with a Monday–Friday schedule, starting between 8:00 AM and 9:00 AM. Overtime applies after 40 hours.

Qualifications

• CDL A with HazMat endorsement is required or the company will assist with obtaining it.
• DOT Medical Card is required.

• Clean driving and safety record.
• Background check at onboarding.
• Ability to lift/push/pull objects over 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate vehicle per BSP safety procedures and applicable laws.
• Perform freight pick-ups and deliveries within ME/NH area, including commercial and residential.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch for route updates and delays.

Higher Starting Pay!

Pay: $34.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday through Friday
Start Time: 8:00 AM / 9:00 AM, based on business needs
Position: Full-Time

BSP Trans Inc has been providing the Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont areas with outstanding LTL transportation services since 1970. At BSP, our team consists of a six-terminal network across our coverage area to ensure swift deliveries for customers.

What you will do on a typical shift:

• Operate vehicle in accordance with BSP Trans, Inc. safety procedures and operating standards, OSHA, DOT and local, state and federal laws
• Perform freight pick-ups and deliveries within the Maine and New Hampshire area in accordance with company standard of customer service and professionalism. Deliveries include both commercial and residential
• Effectively communicate with dispatch for route updates and stops and any delays that are impactful of the daily schedule

What you need at a minimum to succeed at BSP:

• CDL A with HazMat endorsement. If you do not have a Hazmat Endorsement, we will help you obtain it
• DOT Medical Card
• Minimum 1 year of verifiable tractor trailer Class A CDL experience
• Must successfully pass required DOT Drug Test and physical
• Clean Driving and Safety Record
• Must have a successful completion of a county level background check during onboarding
• Ability to exert physical effort in handling (pushing, pulling, lifting, etc.) objects of more than 75 lbs
