Job summary

BSP Trans, Inc. is hiring a Local CDL B Truck Driver for the First Shift, home daily. This full-time role runs Monday through Friday with a start time around 7:30AM–9:00AM, and offers a $29.70 per hour wage plus a $1,000 sign-on bonus.

The driver will perform straight truck deliveries in Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont, adhering to safety procedures and DOT regulations, while maintaining professional service and close communication with dispatch.

Qualifications

• CDL B license with HazMat endorsement; if absent, company will assist.
• DOT Medical Card required.
• Minimum 1 year verifiable CDL experience.
• Must pass DOT drug test and have a clean record.

Responsibilities

• Operate straight truck and comply with safety standards and regulations.
• Perform freight pickups and deliveries within Maine/New Hampshire area.
• Deliveries to commercial and residential customers.
• Communicate with dispatch for route updates and delays.

We have an immediate opening for our First Shift CDL B Truck Driver position!

Full-Time – Monday through Friday | Start 7:30AM - 9:00AM Determined by business needs

$29.70 per hour + $1,000 Sign-On Bonus

BSP Trans, Inc. has been providing the Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont areas with outstanding LTL transportation services since 1970. At BSP, our team consists of a six-terminal network across our coverage area to ensure swift deliveries for customers.

What you will do on a typical shift:

• Operate straight truck and vehicles in accordance with BSP Trans Inc safety procedures and operating standards, OSHA, DOT, local, state, and federal laws
• Perform freight pick-ups and deliveries within the Maine and New Hampshire area in accordance with company standard of customer service and professionalism.
• Deliveries are both commercial and residential
• Effectively communicate with dispatch for route updates, stops and delays that are impactful to the daily schedule

What you need at a minimum to succeed at BSP:

• CDL B license with HazMat endorsement. If you do not have a Hazmat Endorsement, we will help you obtain it
• Department of Transportation (DOT) Medical Card
• A minimum of 1 year of verifiable CDL Experience
• Must successfully pass required DOT Drug Test and physical
• Clean Driving and Safety Record
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
• Ability to exert physical effort in handling (pushing, pulling, lifting, etc.) objects above 75 lbs
