Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking a Yard Driver to move tractor trailers to and from loading docks and park trailers in designated areas. You will also transport vehicles to offsite facilities, following all DOT and company safety rules.

Responsibilities include safety checks, paperwork, securing equipment, and maintaining a clean dock area. Must hold a CDL-A, pass drug tests, and meet DOT medical requirements. Competitive benefits apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CDL-A license required.
• 1-year commercial driving experience preferred.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug test and DOT medical card.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety checks (pre/post trip) per DOT standards.
• Move trailers to/from loading docks and designated parking areas.
• Handle paperwork related to offsite maintenance/inspections.
• Secure tractors, trailers, and freight at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dock and yard area.
• Complete shift-end paperwork and secure equipment.
