Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Yard Driver to move tractors and trailers safely to loading docks and offsite facilities, following DOT regulations and company policies. You will fuel, park, and conduct safety checks while maintaining accurate paperwork and communication with teammates.

The role requires a CDL A, clean MVR, 21+ years old, and the ability to pass a road test. Benefits include health, 401k matching, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6–12 months tractor trailer experience or similar.
• Valid CDL A license required.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years; ability to pass pre-employment drug test.
• DOT Health Card current or able to secure one.
• Must pass road test and maintain safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety checks (pre/post trip) on tractor, truck, and trailer per DOT regulations.
• Move trailers to/from loading docks and designated parking areas.
• Handle paperwork for offsite maintenance/inspections.
• Ensure tractors and trailers are locked and secure at all times.
• Complete required paperwork and return to supervisor at shift end.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
