Job summary

Red Hawk Trucking is seeking CDL-A drivers for paid mentor training welcoming new CDL holders. The program includes onboarding (7 days), a mentor phase (10 days minimum at 5+ hours daily), and sign off with your own truck. Hotel covered and a $100 food stipend.

Starting pay is $0.50 per mile from 2,000 safe miles with no rookie scale, and 2,600–2,800 miles yields about $1,300–$1,400 weekly. Top performers earn additional 8–10 cents per mile; paid every Friday by direct deposit, with a raise

Qualifications

• 21 or older with a valid Class A CDL.
• Graduated from a verifiable truck driving school with at least 120 hours within the last 12 months.
• No trucking job since finishing school.
• Max 4 moving violations in 3 years, zero DUI/DWI in 5 years.
• Pass a urine drug screen and DOT physical.

Responsibilities

• No touch dry van freight, mostly drop and hook.
• Freight comes from direct customers and is planned 24 to 72 hours out.
• Out 1 to 2 weeks, Monday through Saturday, with a 34 hour reset every Sunday.
• Take your truck home on your time off.

CDL-A Truck Driver - Paid Mentor Training - New CDL Holders Welcome (Full Time)

Job Type: Driving

CDL school is behind you. The next step is a company that trains you on the road and then pays you like a pro. Solo drivers here earn the same $0.50 per mile as veterans, about $1,300 to $1,400 a week at 2,600 to 2,800 miles.

The Training Plan

• Onboarding (7 days): company intro, skills evaluation and extra practice if you need it. Hotel covered plus a $100 food stipend
• Mentor phase: 10 days minimum over the road, 5+ hours of driving per day, $75 a day
• Sign off: pass the backing check, pre-trip and road test, and you move into your own truck
• Women train with female mentors

What You Earn

• $0.50 per mile starting rate at 2,000 safe miles, no lower rookie scale
• Running 2,600 to 2,800 miles pays roughly $1,300 to $1,400 weekly
• Top performers earn a weekly incentive of 8 to 10 cents per mile
• Paid every Friday by direct deposit, with a raise every year
