CDL-A Truck Driver - Trainee Program - Fresh CDL Holders Welcome (Full Time)
Job Type: Driving

Your Class A is fresh. Our program takes you from the classroom to solo driving in a few weeks, then pays you $1,300 to $1,400 a week with a paycheck every Friday.

Freight and Home Time

• Dry van, 100% no touch, around 70% drop and hook
• Freight comes from direct customers and is planned 24 to 72 hours out
• Run Monday to Saturday, out 1 to 2 weeks, 34 hour reset each Sunday
• The truck comes home with you on days off

What You Earn

• $0.50 per mile starting rate at 2,000 safe miles, no lower rookie scale
• 2,600 to 2,800 miles works out to about $1,300 to $1,400 a week
• Top performers earn a weekly incentive of 8 to 10 cents per mile
• Direct deposit each Friday and a yearly pay increase

The Training Plan

• Week one: onboarding class with a driving skills check and added coaching where needed. Lodging paid and $100 for meals
• On the road with a mentor (10+ days): at least 5 hours behind the wheel daily, following a training checklist. Paid $75 a day
• Sign off: pass the backing check, pre-trip and road test, and you move into your own truck
• Female trainees ride with female mentors

Who Can Apply

• Age 21+ and a current Class A CDL
• Graduated from a verifiable driving school with at least 120 hours, within 12 months
• No trucking job since finishing school
• No more than 4 moving violations in 3 years, no DUI/DWI in 5 years
• Able to pass a DOT physical and urine drug test
