Job summary

Red Hawk Trucking is seeking an entry level CDL-A truck driver. You’ll start with paid training under a road mentor, then drive solo at a competitive pay rate. You’ll be paid every Friday, with weekly earnings around $1,300–$1,400 after you complete training.

During onboarding, you’ll receive mentorship, hotel coverage for 7 days, and a $100 food allowance. Your first steps include on-road training with a mentor, then progression to your own truck and solo runs.

Qualifications

• 21+ with a valid Class A CDL.
• At least 120 hours of training at a verifiable CDL school, finished within 12 months.
• No other trucking employer since school.
• No more than 4 moving violations in 3 years and no DUI/DWI in 5 years.
• Pass urine drug testing and DOT physical.

A new CDL opens the door. The right first company gets you through it. We train you with a mentor on the road, pay you while you learn, and then you run solo at $0.50 per mile, about $1,300 to $1,400 a week, paid every Friday.

Here Is the Path

• Onboarding, 7 days: introduction to the company, skills evaluation, extra practice if you need it. Hotel covered, $100 for food
• On the road with a mentor, 10+ days: you drive 5 or more hours a day and follow a training checklist. $75 a day
• Last step: backing evaluation, pre-trip and road test
• Then: your own truck, solo
• Women are paired with female mentors

Pay

• $0.50 per mile once you run 2,000 safe miles, same rate as veterans
• Top performers add 8 to 10 cents per mile each week
• $15 per extra stop, $15 an hour detention after 2 hours

Freight and Home Time

• 100% no touch dry van, roughly 70% drop and hook
• Freight from direct customers, planned 1 to 3 days ahead
• Out 1 to 2 weeks, Monday through Saturday
• Sunday off every week for your reset
• Truck goes home with you
• 401k, company matches up to 3%
• Tuition reimbursement for your CDL school
• Automatic sleeper with APU, about 1.5 years old
