Job summary

FedEx Freight is seeking a professional CDL driver to pick up and deliver trailers between service centers and turn-point locations using tractor-trailer combinations. This full-time role emphasizes safety, on-time performance, and compliance with DOT regulations.

The position requires a valid Class A CDL with hazmat and double/triple endorsements, plus documentation of clean MVR and successful completion of FedEx Freight Driver Development if applicable.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class A CDL with hazmat and double/triple endorsements.
• At least 1 year of experience or completion of FedEx Freight Driver Development Course.
• Must meet DOT/FMCSA MVR standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Drive tractor-trailer including doubles (triples where allowed).
• Perform daily pre-trip and safety inspections.
• Hook and unhook trailers and converter dollies.
• Complete required documentation and logs accurately.
• Follow dispatch instructions and communicate delays or issues.
• Load and unload freight as required.
• Operate safely under DOT regulations and company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
