Job summary

US Foods is seeking a Shuttle Truck Driver to operate a tractor-trailer between distribution centers and shuttle yards. You will switch loaded trailers with empties, ensuring safe and efficient operations. The role emphasizes integrity, reliability, and building strong customer relationships.

Schedule is Sunday to Thursday, 7 pm until complete. Training pays $24.23/hour; post-training pay is a daily minimum/Component Pay based on miles, cases, and stops.

Qualifications

• CDL A with required endorsements and DOT qualification.
• Minimum six months commercial truck driving experience or three months foodservice or food and beverage truck delivery experience.
• Double Endorsement license required.

Responsibilities

• Check route numbers and account numbers for all deliveries.
• Check customer invoices for loaded products.
• Move tractors to loading dock to attach trailers and dolly.
• Hook trailers and ensure connections are correct.
• Log time using electronic time keeping.
• Inspect trailers, handle paperwork, and secure loads.
• Perform safety checks on truck and trailer.
• Assist with fueling and parking as needed.
