Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Shuttle Driver to transport empty trailers to warehouse locations and deliver full trailers to domicile yards. The role requires safe operation of tandem/tractor or straight trucks, adherence to DOT rules, and professional communication with customers and co-workers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6+ months of commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL A with Doubles Endorsement.
• Must be 21+ years old.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Work a 3rd shift schedule; Sunday–Thursday nights.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety checks on tractor/trailer and comply with DOT regulations.
• Inspect equipment and secure freight for transport.
• Deliver trailers on schedule and assist with hook/unhook procedures.
• Park, store and secure equipment and ensure paperwork is complete.
• Complete daily hours-of-service logs and maintain clean work areas.

Skills

CDL A with Doubles Endorsement

Commercial driving experience

21 years or older

Clean MVR (past 3 years)

Third shift availability

DOT Health Card ready
