Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Shuttle Driver to transport empty trailers to warehouse locations and route full trailers to domicile/shuttle yards. You will drive tandem/tractor/straight trucks on intrastate and interstate routes, following DOT regulations and safety guidelines.

The position requires 21+, 12 months driving experience, CDL A with Doubles, and a clean MVR. Night shifts Sunday–Thursday, with 6pm–8pm dispatch. Benefits are offered from Day 1.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 12 months commercial driving experience required.
• Valid CDL A with Doubles Endorsement.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass pre-employment drug test and road test.
• DOT Health Card current or able to secure one.

Responsibilities

• Transport empty trailers to operating locations and turn around to deliver full trailers to domicile/shuttle yards.
• Drive tandem trailer, tractor trailer and/or straight truck on intra- and interstate routes.
• Comply with DOT regulations and company safety guidelines.
• Maintain daily hours-of-service logs and required route paperwork.
• Perform pre/post trip safety inspections and proper securing of freight.
