Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Shuttle Driver to transport empty trailers to operating locations and deliver full trailers to domicile/shuttle yard locations. The role requires a CDL A with Doubles Endorsement, 3rd shift Sunday–Thursday evenings, and adherence to DOT safety rules.

Compensation ranges from $60,000 to $70,000 annually with comprehensive benefits. Responsibilities include safety inspections, on-time deliveries, and accurate paper and electronic records.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year or more commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL A with Doubles Endorsement.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass pre-employment drug test and road test.
• DOT Health Card or ability to secure one.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety checks (pre/post trip) on tractor/truck and trailer per DOT regulations.
• Inspect and ensure proper loading and securing of freight.
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety guidelines; report hazards.
• Drive and deliver trailers according to route schedule; complete paperwork.
• Unhook procedures, park and store tractors/trailers.
• Maintain daily hours-of-service logs and keep work areas clean.
