Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking a Shuttle Driver to move empty trailers to our warehouse locations and turn around to deliver full trailers to domicile yards. You will operate tractor/trailer units on intrastate and interstate routes in a safe, DOT-compliant manner. CDL-A with Doubles endorsement and 12+ months of commercial driving experience are required.

Sunday–Thursday night shift. Day-one benefits, competitive pay, and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 12+ months of commercial driving experience.
• CDL-A with Doubles Endorsement required.
• Must be 21+ years old and pass pre-employment checks.
• DOT health card current or able to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre/post-trip safety inspections on tractor/trailer per DOT rules.
• Drive and deliver trailers according to schedule Sunday–Thursday nights.
• Ensure proper loading/unloading and secure freight.
• Maintain required route paperwork and logs per regulations.
• Communicate with customers and co-workers professionally.
