CDL-A Dry Van Trainee - Mentor Program - $1,300 to $1,400 Weekly (Full Time)
Job Type: Driving

New to trucking and ready to work? Here is the deal: paid mentor training, then your own truck, the same mile rate as veterans and a 34 hour reset each Sunday.

Your Training Step by Step

• Week one: onboarding class with a driving skills check and added coaching where needed. Lodging paid and $100 for meals
• On the road with a mentor (10+ days): at least 5 hours behind the wheel daily, following a training checklist. Paid $75 a day
• Final step: backing evaluation, pre-trip inspection and road test, then your own truck
• Women train with female mentors
• $0.50 per mile at 2,000 safe miles a week, the same starting rate as experienced drivers
• Most solo weeks of 2,600 to 2,800 miles come to about $1,300 to $1,400
• Extra 8 to 10 cents per mile each week for top performance
• Direct deposit each Friday and a yearly pay increase

What You Need

• 21 or older with a valid Class A CDL

• Have not driven for another carrier since school
• 4 or fewer moving violations in 3 years and no DUI/DWI in 5
• Pass a urine drug screen and DOT physical
