Red Hawk Trucking is hiring for a CDL-A Dry Van Driver (New CDL Holders) in a full-time role. After completion of paid training, you will drive solo in a company truck with a target of 2,600–2,800 miles per week at about 1,300–1,400 USD per week, with pay every Friday and a structured week-by-week program.

Weekly earnings are based on a $0.50 per mile rate, with bonuses and additional incentives for top performers.

Qualifications

• Age 21 or older, Class A CDL
• Completed a verifiable CDL program of at least 120 hours within the past 12 months
• No other trucking company since school
• No more than 4 moving violations in 3 years and no DUI/DWI in 5
• Pass urine drug screening and DOT physical

Job Type: Driving

You passed the test. Now it is time to learn the job for real, with someone beside you on the road and a paycheck coming in. After training you run solo at $0.50 per mile, which means about $1,300 to $1,400 a week for 2,600 to 2,800 miles, paid every Friday.

Week by Week

• Week 1: onboarding class with a skills evaluation and extra coaching if needed. Hotel paid plus a $100 food stipend
• Weeks 2 and 3: at least 10 days with a road mentor, 5 or more hours of driving each day, $75 per day
• Sign off: backing, pre-trip inspection and road test
• Solo: your own truck and your own fleet
• Female trainees are matched with female mentors
• $0.50 per mile at 2,000 safe miles, no lower rookie rate
• 8 to 10 cents per mile weekly incentive for top performers
• Detention $15 an hour after 2 hours, layover $40, breakdown $100
• 6 paid holidays at $100 each and a yearly raise

Home Time and Freight

• Out 1 to 2 weeks, Monday through Saturday
• Sunday is reset day, every week
• No touch dry van, mostly drop and hook
• Direct customer freight, not load boards

Truck

• Automatic sleeper, about 1.5 years old on average
• Comes home with you on time off
• 401k with company match up to 3%

• $200 orientation pay, travel reimbursed up to $800
