Red Hawk Trucking is hiring entry-level CDL-A trainees for a paid mentor program. Start at $0.50 per mile with 2,000 safe miles per week, plus weekly incentives and upfront orientation pay. The program includes a mentor over-the-road phase and a chance to move into your own seat and truck after training.

Expect a structured onboarding, lodging in Week 1, and daily pay during the training period. Women are matched with female mentors, with travel reimbursement and a 34-hour reset weekly schedule.

Qualifications

• 21 years or older
• Current Class A CDL
• Graduated from an accredited driving school within 12 months
• No other trucking company between school and now
• No more than 4 moving violations in 3 years and no DUI/DWI in 5
• Pass urine drug screening and DOT physical

Training Timeline

• Week 1: onboarding class, skills evaluation and any extra practice you need. Lodging included, plus a $100 food stipend
• Next 10+ days: over the road with a mentor, at least 5 hours behind the wheel daily, paid $75 a day
• Last step: backing, pre-trip and road test, then you move up to your own seat and truck
• Women are matched with female mentors
• $200 orientation pay, with travel reimbursed up to $800 depending on distance

Life on the Road

• 100% no touch dry van, about 70% drop and hook
• Loads come from our own shippers and are planned 24 to 72 hours out
• Run Monday to Saturday, take a 34 hour reset each Sunday, out 1 to 2 weeks
• Keep the truck at home during your time off
• Automatic sleepers averaging 1.5 years old, with APU and fridge
• Medical, dental, vision and prescription starting after 60 days
