Job summary

Red Hawk Trucking is seeking entry-level CDL-A drivers for a paid training program. Trainees train with a mentor, then move into their own truck, earning $0.50 per mile with about 1,300–1,400 USD weekly, paid every Friday.

The program covers lodging, a $100 meals stipend, and mentor time paid at $75 per day. Expect to run 1–2 weeks out, with a 34-hour reset every Sunday and full benefits as you progress.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL
• Completed 120+ hours at a verifiable truck driving school in the last 12 months
• No trucking job since finishing school
• No more than 4 moving violations in 3 years
• No DUI/DWI in 5 years
• Pass urine drug testing and a DOT physical

Responsibilities

• Onboarding and skills evaluation during week-long training
• Lodging is covered; meals stipend of $100

• Wrap up with backing, pre-trip inspection and road test

Got your CDL but no experience yet? That is exactly who our trainee program is built for. You train with a mentor, then move into your own truck earning the same $0.50 per mile as veteran drivers, around $1,300 to $1,400 a week, paid every Friday.

What You Will Do in Training

• Onboarding (1 week): meet the team, complete a skills evaluation and get more practice on anything that needs it
• Lodging is covered and you get $100 for meals
• Mentor time (10 days minimum): drive at least 5 hours a day with an experienced mentor and work through a checklist, paid $75 a day
• Wrap up: backing, pre-trip inspection and road test
• Solo: you take over your own truck
• Female trainees go out with female mentors
• $0.50 per mile at 2,000 safe miles a week
• 8 to 10 cents per mile weekly incentive for top performers
• $15 an hour detention after 2 hours, breakdown $100, layover $40
• Raise every year
