Red Hawk Trucking in Ocala, FL is hiring a Class A Entry Level Driver for a paid mentor training program. Trainees start earning during onboarding and then move into their own truck at a solo rate of $0.50 per mile.

Expect about 2,000 safe miles weekly at start, with potential for increases. Training includes onboarding, mentorship, and a sign‑off to drive solo. Pay is issued weekly with yearly raises and benefits in place.

Qualifications

• 21 or older with a valid Class A CDL.
• Graduated from a verifiable driving school with at least 120 hours, within 12 months.
• No other trucking employer between school and now.
• No more than 4 moving violations in 3 years, no DUI/DWI in 5 years.
• Urine drug testing and DOT physical required.

Responsibilities

• Undergo onboarding and training with a mentor, including 7 days of intro and 10+ days of hands‑on driving.
• Move from trainee to solo driver once criteria are met and drive your own truck at advertised rate.
• Meet weekly mileage targets and receive pay, with schedule Friday direct deposit and annual raises.
• Operate a 100% no‑touch dry van and coordinate loads with planners.

Getting hired with zero experience should not be the hard part. We train you, pay you during training and then give you your own truck at the full solo rate of $0.50 per mile.

• Everyone starts at $0.50 per mile with 2,000 safe miles weekly, rookie or veteran
• 2,600 to 2,800 miles works out to about $1,300 to $1,400 a week
• Extra 8 to 10 cents per mile each week for top performance
• Paid every Friday by direct deposit, with a raise every year

Your Training Step by Step

• Onboarding (7 days): company intro, skills evaluation and extra practice if you need it. Hotel covered plus a $100 food stipend
• Step 2: at least 10 days with an experienced mentor, driving 5 or more hours a day, earning $75 per day
• Sign off: pass the backing check, pre-trip and road test, and you move into your own truck
• Women train with female mentors
