Job summary

PFG Customized is seeking entry level Driver Trainees to learn and grow into tractor trailer or straight truck roles serving intrastate and interstate routes. You will train on deliveries, safety checks, and customer service while supporting America’s food distribution system.

This entry level position offers a competitive salary range in the $80,000–$89,000 annual band, 4-day work weeks with night dispatch, and benefits from day one. No previous experience required beyond a CDL-A license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CDL A license required.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass post-offer drug test.
• Meet all state licensing/certification requirements.

Responsibilities

• Attend and complete PFG Entry Level Driver Trainee or Dock to Driver Training Program.
• Ride with driver trainer and assist deliveries as required.
• Perform pre/post trip inspections and report safety issues.
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety policies.
• Deliver orders on predetermined routes and unload at customer sites.
• Ensure secure loading, collect signatures, and handle payments where required.
• Complete daily hours-of-service logs as required.
• Maintain cleanliness and security of equipment and loading areas.
