Job summary

PFG Customized in Columbus, OH is seeking an entry-level Driver Trainee to learn tractor-trailer operations across intrastate and interstate routes. No experience is required beyond a CDL-A; you must be 21+, have a valid DOT Health Card, and complete the company training program.

Salary ranges from $80,000 to $89,000 annually, with 4-day work weeks and dispatch times from 11pm to 4am. Benefits start Day 1, plus a $10,000 sign-on bonus and added perks like uniforms and boot allowance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent is required.
• Valid CDL A license required.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• DOT Health Card required.

Responsibilities

• Attend and complete PFG Entry Level Driver Trainee program and training documentation.
• Ride with driver trainer and assist in deliveries.
• Perform safety checks (pre/post trip) per DOT regulations and report issues.
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety guidelines.
• Inspect trailer loading, verify invoices and complete paperwork accurately.
• Drive to deliver orders according to route schedule and unload at customer locations.
• Secure equipment, manage returns, and document hours of service daily.
• Perform general housekeeping and assist with other duties as needed.
