Job summary

PFG Customized Distribution in the United States is seeking an entry level Driver Trainee to learn tractor trailer and straight truck routes, including overnight schedules and deliveries of food products.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must have CDL-A license.
• Ability to pass post-offer drug test and maintain DOT health card.

Responsibilities

• Attend and complete PFG Entry Level Driver Trainee or Dock to Driver Training Program.
• Assist driver trainer and learn deliveries.
• Perform pre/post trip inspections per DOT regulations and report safety issues.
• Drive to deliver orders according to route schedule and unload at customer locations.
• Ensure security of tractor, trailer and freight when not in use.
• Maintain daily logs of hours of service.
