Job summary

NIS EXPRESS in El Paso, TX is hiring entry‑level CDL‑A drivers to train with a regional fleet and haul dry van freight across 27 states, with no New England or New York freight.

You’ll ride with a trainer, get paid weekly during training, and move into your own truck on full pay once the trainer signs off. Expect 1,200–1,800 in weekly earnings and a $1,000 weekly guarantee for the first 3 months.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL required, 21+ years old.
• No prior driving experience required for entry path.
• Must pass DOT physical and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Drive dry van freight across 27 states, with miles 1,800–2,200 per week.
• Work with a trainer on real loads before solo driving.
• Drop and hook plus live loads and unloads.

Have your CDL-A but no driving experience yet? This is where you start. El Paso area drivers can start with a regional fleet that trains new CDL holders on the road and keeps runs east of Denver, with no New England or New York freight.

How You Start

• Ride with an experienced driver trainer on real loads

The Job

• Dry van freight in 27 states, Colorado east, no New England
• 1,800 to 2,200 miles per week
• Home every 2 weeks
• Drop and hook plus live loads and unloads

Pay

• Average weekly earnings of $1,200 to $1,800
• Standard mileage pay scale that grows with experience
• Monthly driver performance bonus
• $15 stop pay

Two Ways to Start

• CDL-A in hand, no experience: 120+ hours from an accredited CDL school. Paid training with a driver trainer, paid every week while you learn.
• Experienced drivers: 12 months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience. Skip training and go straight to your own truck.

Everyone Needs

• Class A CDL, 21 or older
• No more than 2 moving violations in 2 years
• Able to pass a DOT physical and drug screen
• Live within 250 miles of El Paso, TX
