Job summary

NIS EXPRESS in Eugene, OR seeks CDL-A drivers for a western regional fleet that trains new CDL holders on the road. You’ll be paid weekly during training and move to full pay once your trainer signs off, with a guaranteed $1,000 weekly for the first 3 months solo driving.

Expect ~2,000 miles weekly, home every two weeks, and day/night dispatch. This role starts with a base pay of 50¢/mile plus stop pay and a monthly bonus, with benefits after 30 days and a 401k match.

Qualifications

• CDL-A required and willing to train on the road with a trainer.
• Complete 120+ hours at an accredited CDL school.
• Pass DOT physical and drug screen.
• Live within 200 miles of Troutdale, OR.
• Able to drive day and night; weekend driving expected.

Responsibilities

• Haul dry van freight across western states west of the Mississippi.
• Average around 2,000 miles per week.
• Home every 2 weeks.
• Coordinate with day and night dispatch; weekend shifts possible.

Have your CDL-A but no driving experience yet? This is where you start. Eugene area drivers are joining a western regional fleet that trains new CDL holders on the road, pays them every week while they learn, and backs their first months solo with a guaranteed check.

How You Start

• Ride with an experienced driver trainer on real loads
• Paid every week during training
• Move into your own truck on full pay once your trainer signs off
• $1,000 per week guaranteed for your first 3 months of solo driving

The Job

• Dry van freight across the western states, west of the Mississippi
• Around 2,000 miles per week
• Home every 2 weeks
• Day and night dispatch, weekend driving expected

Pay

• Average weekly earnings of $1,500
• Starting rate of 50 cents per mile
• $15 stop pay
• Monthly driver performance bonus

What You Need
