Job summary

NIS EXPRESS is looking for CDL-A trainees in Yakima, WA. You’ll ride with an experienced trainer, earn weekly during training, and move to full pay once signed off.

Expect roughly 2,000 miles weekly on dry van freight across the western states, with home time every two weeks and round-the-clock dispatch support. Starting pay includes $900 weekly during training, with $1,000 weekly guaranteed for the first 3 months of solo driving, plus $1,500 average weekly earnings and additional bonus

Qualifications

• Class A CDL and 21+ years old.
• Completed 120+ hours at an accredited CDL school.
• No more than 2 moving violations in 2 years.
• Able to pass a DOT physical and drug screen.
• Live within 200 miles of Troutdale, OR.

Responsibilities

• Dry van freight across the western states west of the Mississippi.
• Approximately 2,000 miles per week.
• Home every 2 weeks.
• Day and night dispatch, weekend driving expected.

Have your CDL-A but no driving experience yet? This is where you start. Yakima area drivers are joining a western regional fleet that trains new CDL holders on the road, pays them every week while they learn, and backs their first months solo with a guaranteed check.

How You Start

• Ride with an experienced driver trainer on real loads


• Paid $900 every week during training


• Move into your own truck on full pay once your trainer signs off


• $1,000 per week guaranteed for your first 3 months of solo driving

The Job

• Dry van freight across the western states, west of the Mississippi


• Around 2,000 miles per week


• Home every 2 weeks


• Day and night dispatch, weekend driving expected

Pay

• Average weekly earnings of $1,500


• Starting rate of 50 cents per mile


• $15 stop pay


• Monthly driver performance bonus
