Job summary

NIS EXPRESS is seeking a CDL-A truck driver to haul dry van freight across the 11 western states. You will average 1,700–2,100 miles weekly and be home every two weeks. There is an option to extend miles by running beyond the western states.

Training options include 120+ hours of CDL school with paid training and weekly pay; experienced drivers may skip training after meeting mileage requirements and proceed to their own truck. Benefits start after 30 days, with 401k matching and PTO.

Qualifications

• CDL-A license and 21+ years old required.
• No more than 2 moving violations in 2 years.
• Must pass DOT physical and drug screen.

How You Start

• Ride with an experienced driver trainer on real loads
• $680 per week during training
• Move into your own truck on full pay once your trainer signs off
• $1,000 per week guaranteed for your first 3 months of solo driving

The Job

• Dry van freight across the 11 western states
• 1,700 to 2,100 miles per week

Pay

• Average weekly earnings of $1,000 to $1,300
• Standard mileage pay scale that grows with experience
• Up to 6 cents per mile extra in performance bonus
• $15 stop pay

Two Ways to Start

• CDL-A in hand, no experience: 120+ hours from an accredited CDL school. Paid training with a driver trainer, paid every week while you learn.
• Experienced drivers: 6 months OTR in the last 12 months, or 12 months in the last 5 years. Skip training and go straight to your own truck.
