Job summary

NIS Express in Roseburg, OR is seeking drivers starting with a CDL-A and no driving experience. You’ll train with a veteran trainer, earn weekly pay during training, and move to full pay once signed off. A guaranteed $1,000 per week is offered for the first three months of solo driving.

Dry van freight covers the 11 western states with about 1,700–2,100 miles weekly. You’ll be home every two weeks, with optional runs beyond the western states for more miles.

Have your CDL-A but no driving experience yet? This is where you start. Roseburg drivers can build a career on a western regional fleet that keeps runs short, usually no more than 2 days from home, and trains new CDL holders on the road.

How You Start

• Ride with an experienced driver trainer on real loads
• $650 per week during training
• Move into your own truck on full pay once your trainer signs off
• $1,000 per week guaranteed for your first 3 months of solo driving

Pay

• Average weekly earnings of $1,000 to $1,300
• Standard mileage pay scale that grows with experience
• Up to 6 cents per mile extra in performance bonus

Two Ways to Start

• CDL-A in hand, no experience: 120+ hours from an accredited CDL school. Paid training with a driver trainer, paid every week while you learn.
• Experienced drivers: 6 months OTR in the last 12 months, or 12 months in the last 5 years. Skip training and go straight to your own truck.
