Job summary

The Valley Health System in Nevada is seeking a Supervisor to lead the Clinical Documentation Integrity (CDI) team under the CDI Manager. You will guide planning, development and ongoing success of the Clinical Documentation Management Program and strive for clinical and operational excellence in CDI efforts.

Required BSN and RN license in Nevada with 5 years CDI experience; MSN preferred. CCDS/CDIP preferred.

Qualifications

• RN license in Nevada required.
• BSN degree required; MSN preferred.
• 5 years CDI experience with quality improvement projects.
• CCDS or CDIP certification preferred.
• Strong leadership and training capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the CDI team and provide first-line leadership.
• Participate in planning, development and implementation of the CDI program.
• Support departmental goals and drive clinical documentation improvement.
• Collaborate with clinical and operational teams to achieve excellence.
