Job summary

The Valley Health System in Nevada is seeking a Supervisor for the CDI team. Under the general supervision of the CDI Manager, the Supervisor provides first-line supervision to the CDI team and leads efforts to plan, develop, and implement the Clinical Documentation Management Program.

This role requires a BSN (MSN preferred), 5 years CDI experience, and an active Nevada RN license or equivalent; CCDS/CDIP preferred.

Qualifications

• Leadership and problem-solving abilities for supervising a CDI team.
• BSN required; MSN preferred; 4 years may substitute for degree, per qualifications.
• Five years of CDI experience and CDI quality improvement projects are required.
• Valid RN license in Nevada or International Medical Graduate; CCDS/CDIP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the CDI team and support the program's planning, development and implementation.
• Contribute to achieving clinical and operational excellence in CDI efforts.
