Job summary

Valley Health System in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Supervising Clinical Documentation Integrity (CDI) professional to lead the CDI team under the CDI Manager. This role drives the Clinical Documentation Management Program and supports the department's goals to ensure clinical and operational excellence.

The ideal candidate holds a BSN (MSN preferred), RN license in Nevada, and at least five years in CDI with quality improvement project experience. Training experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• BSN required; Four years of RN experience may substitute for the degree
• MSN preferred
• Five+ years of CDI experience required
• Certified CDI experience/certifications preferred or CCDS/CDIP beneficial

Responsibilities

• Supervise CDI team under the CDI Manager
• Plan, develop and implement the Clinical Documentation Management Program
• Support CDI department goals and clinical/operational excellence
• Lead CDI quality improvement initiatives and training efforts
