HF Sinclair Midstream is seeking a Corrosion Prevention Technician to plan and perform the cathodic protection program for pipelines and tanks.

This field-based role requires a minimum eight years' experience, high school diploma with NACE certifications, and ability to travel up to 40%. Proficiency with testing equipment and MS Office is expected.

The position involves audits, coordination with operations and engineers, and contributing to corrosion prevention initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and NACE Level II certification required.
• Eight years of on-the-job corrosion experience is required.
• Experience with cathodic protection systems and corrosion surveys.
• Proficient with MS Office; able to interpret data and generate reports.
• Able to work in field conditions and travel up to 40%.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes testing equipment to evaluate pipelines, tanks, and facilities.
• Develops plans to remedy deficiencies in corrosion control.
• Performs cathodic protection surveys and data interpretation.
• Maintain records per policies.
• Coordinate with operations and engineers on corrosion issues.
• Participate in audits and NACE functions.
• Review drawings for interference.
• Oversee installation of corrosion mitigation systems.
