Job summary

HF Sinclair Midstream in Casper, WY seeks a Corrosion Prevention Technician to manage cathodic protection and corrosion control for company pipelines and tanks. You will plan, perform and document corrosion surveys, analyze data, and coordinate fixes with operations.

Minimum five years of field experience is required; a high school diploma is essential, with NACE certification preferred. The role involves field work, recordkeeping and compliance with DOT CFR 49 Part 195.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of on‑the‑job corrosion prevention experience.
• Preferred pipeline construction/operations background and electrical theory.
• Certifications in cathodic protection (NACE) are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize corrosion testing equipment to assess pipelines and tanks.
• Develop plans to remedy corrosion deficiencies.
• Measure and troubleshoot rectifiers in cathodic protection.
• Conduct cathodic protection surveys and record results.
• Maintain surveys and test records per policy.
