Job summary

Mercy Health in Cincinnati seeks a Special Procedures and Cath Lab Technologist to support fluoroscopic and interventional procedures with sterile technique. You will prepare patients, document medications and radiation exposure, and communicate findings in the EMR.

Required ARRT or CCI certification, BLS, and 1 year radiology/surgery exposure; associates in radiologic technology preferred. Competitive benefits and ongoing professional development offered.

Qualifications

• Certification and registration with ARRT or CCI is required.
• Associate degree in radiologic technology preferred.
• 1 year radiology experience with surgery exposure preferred.
• BLS certification required or obtained prior to patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality diagnostic vascular studies using ultrasound and physiologic testing.
• Prepare patients and explain procedures to minimize anxiety.
• Communicate with referring physicians for clarification when needed.
• Document findings in the electronic medical record and protect patient confidentiality.
